Turmeric Latte

What to make on a cold, dreary January day?  How about a nice warm latte?  Sounds good, right?

The first step is to pick you FAVOURITE mug.  I find everything tastes better when you are drinking out of a mug you LOVE!  The mug I chose was beautifully designed by one of my best friends.

The hot cup of goodness that I created was a turmeric latte.  Filled with anti-inflammatory compounds, digestion aids and blood sugar balancing properties, you really can’t go wrong!

I chose an unsweetened almond milk to start and filled my mug with it.

Next, I added the milk to a pot and included 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp freshly grated ginger and 1 tbsp of maple syrup.  I heated it all up and voila! If you have a frother, even better!
